The Practice

Our Team

After studying at King's College London (University of London), Katerina worked and undertook postgraduate training at university clinics in Manchester and Leeds, and gained further experience working for three years in a clinic treating patients with limited access to care (children, anxious patients and the elderly).

She then completed one year of postgraduate training in dental surgery.

Finally, she worked for another two years as a general dental practitioner in Manchester.

In 2009 she founded Dental Studio in Ioannina, where she has practised ever since, providing high-quality dental care.

The Premises

The practice has a fully equipped surgery housing the dental chair, a comfortable and tastefully decorated reception area, a separate sterilisation room and two toilets.

The careful choice of equipment and furniture, as well as the layout, décor, lighting and air conditioning, makes each visit more pleasant, especially for patients who feel anxious about dental treatment.

The practice offers excellent access for wheelchair users, with spacious entrances and a lift, in line with Greek and European legislation.

The Equipment

Alongside the significant investment in the premises, there has been an equally important investment in modern equipment, which includes

a state-of-the-art dental chair with digital radiography

an air-polishing (sodium bicarbonate) unit for stain removal and an intraoral camera

a wireless (Bluetooth) connection to a central server that runs the dental software and stores patient records

a dedicated ultrasonic scaler for teeth cleaning

a dedicated unit for root canal treatment

wireless internet access (Wi-Fi)

The Location

The practice is located at 53 Michail Angelou Street, in the commercial centre of the city of Ioannina.

It is housed on the first floor of a newly built building that meets the latest standards of safety, functionality, comfort and aesthetics.
